Jan Olofsson

Born in Sweden in 1944 Jan Olofsson has led a life straddling the worlds of music and photography. His involvement in the 60s music scene naturally led to capturing his friends and musical colleagues that included the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones etc. on camera.

In the 90s Olofsson moved to Cuba. He was the first non-Cuban photographer to hold a photographic exhibition, My Cuba, in Havana at the invitation of the Cuban government. Albumen Gallery offers selection of prints from his time in Cuba. All prints are (verso) artist signed and stamped.
