Edward Quinn

In the 1950s the Irish photographer Edward Quinn (1920 – 1997) moved to the Côte d’Azur, where he became widely know for his photos of the rich and famous celebrities, who came to the Riviera to party and relax.

Less well known – and overshadowed by the photos he took of his friend Picasso – is a rich body of work he developed throughout his life of street photography and portraits of ordinary people around Europe.
