Svante Gullichsen

Helsinki-based photographer Svante Gullichsen’s  work draws on strong Nordic and mystical atmospheres. Central to Gullichsen’s work is the relation between human beings and nature as well as the fundamental relation between darkness and light.

His works are primarily self-portraits reflecting on his experience of living with severe OCD, He discovered that he can express his feelings and communicate more effectively through images than through verbal communication.
