Sepp Werkmeister

During the 60s German photographer Sepp Werkmeister  (1931 – 2021)  – better known for his portraits of jazz musicians – worked extensively in New York. Until recently, the photographer’s impressive body of work portraying life on the streets of the city was virtually unknown.
