Ernst Schlogelhofer - July 2nd, 1961 – 39 Degrees

In September 2019 Derek Hill, son of Formula 1 driver Phil Hill, visited the now disused Reims F1 race track with a film crew working on a documentary about his father's life. Derek and Jason raced the vintage race cars at speed and scenes of the race from the summer of 1961 were acted out for the production. The photos in this exhibition were taken by Ernst Schlögelhofer, who was invited to be the project's photographer.
