Charles Brabin

Two opposite ends of a thematic spectrum play a significant role in Charles Brabin’s photography. Projects of the British photographer often alternate between exploring urban and industrial environments and wide open landscapes or more detailed studies of plants.  Yet his  photos of man made structures and scenes and objects encountered  in nature reflect a common artistic approach and creative vision.  With a science background in biology and genetics his creative eye is always drawn to lines and patterns that inform the composition  and structure of his images trying ” to bring to the fore the intrinsic, abstract, almost mathematical beauty of patterns which surround us.”
